Summer is the time for long naps in the shade, early mornings in the garden, and gooey fruit desserts that bubble over with thick, sweet, juices and make vanilla ice cream melt into every crunchy nook of the crust. Don’t you agree? While we can’t adjust your hammock or weed your cucumber frames, we will be happy to share our favorite recipes for seasonal, sweet finales. Join us in the Artichoke kitchen for a demonstration class on cooking classic desserts perfect for parties on the patio. In the Artichoke kitchen, we will put a duo of seasonal treats into the oven: peach cobbler and berry crumble.* To round out the evening, we will include an ice-cream making demonstration, so that we have a suitably creamy topping to scoop over our plates when we sample our sweet creations. **Our focus on seasonal, local ingredients may prompt adjustments to these recipes to accommodate the best produce available.
