Join us for a great learning and sampling experience.
Mary Johnson, a dietetic intern and soon-to-be Registered Dietitian with a Master of Science in Nutrition from Bastyr University, will be in the Artichoke Demonstration Kitchen on Thursday, December 1. She will prepare a nutritionally balanced, delicious meal and will show how the right tools shorten prep time. Her focus will be on the benefits of eating foods close to their original form and of including fermented foods at each meal. Mary will prepare Luscious Beet Salad with Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Rosemary Red Soup, and a seasonal fruit dessert.
This special class will last about 60 minutes. As with all events in the Artichoke demonstration kitchen, you are welcome to bring your own favorite bottles, and we will provide bottle openers and glasses for all of our guests.
Reservations for the class must be made in advance and are available at $35.00 per person. To guarantee your spot for the evening, either visit our store at historic Findlay Market or call us during our regular business hours. Participation is limited to 10 students.
