Tapas are small-plate bar snacks from Spain. Set up on the counter, they accompany the chilled glass of sherry, wine, or beer that people quaff after a long day of work but before sitting down to supper. Ruth Zanoni will make you feel like you are in Spain with authentic recipes. She begins with a Spanish tortilla – a thick omelet made with potatoes. Her other dishes include miniature meatballs made with beef and chorizo, served in a spicy sauce, and little shrimp al ajillo, cooked with garlic and olive oil. Enjoy a taste of Spain while learning to up your happy-hour game.
